A toddler has been flown to Brisbane after he was injured when a quad bike he was on rolled in the South Burnett.
Ambulance officers were first called to a Sheep Station Creek property at 10.50am on Saturday.
The little boy was riding on the vehicle with his father, who reportedly swerved to avoid a snake and then lost control of the vehicle.
It is feared the quad bike may have rolled over the child‘s abdomen during the crash.
The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the South Burnett incident about 11am.
The toddler, accompanied by his father, was flown in a stable condition to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane for further diagnosis and treatment.
It comes as a 13-year-old child is feared dead in a tragic motorbike crash on the Western Downs.
