New data from the Real Estate Institute of Queensland showed the state’s tight residential vacancy rates were no closer to easing.

The South Burnett has the tightest vacancy rate in the state.

A spokesman said a healthy vacancy rate sits between 2.6 – 3.5 per cent.

“South Burnett has constricted further down from 0.3 per cent during the June quarter, to virtually no vacancies at 0.1 per cent in the September quarter,” he said.

In the wake of this, The South Burnett Times has compiled a list of 15 South Burnett properties under $250,000:
