Woman in 40s flown to hospital after being hit by vehicle in Inverlaw

A woman in her 40s has been flown to a Brisbane hospital with “life-threatening” injuries after she was hit by a vehicle in the South Burnett region overnight. DETAILS.

A woman in her 40s has been flown to a Brisbane hospital with “life-threatening” injuries after she was hit by a vehicle in the South Burnett Region on Saturday night.

Emergency crews responded to the incident on Luck Rd in Inverlaw, southwest of Kingaroy, at 6.21pm.

Queensland Ambulance Service assessed a woman in her 40s, who had been hit by a vehicle, for “life-threatening” injuries to her hip and head.

She was initially transported to Kingaroy Hospital in an ambulance.

She was then flown by a helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
