Police seize $100k meth haul in Kingaroy drug trafficking raid

A teenage girl and a 20-year-old man will face court on Tuesday after detectives allegedly uncovered a major meth trafficking operation in regional Queensland. VIDEO.

Two people are set to face Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with trafficking in dangerous drugs after allegedly being busted with more than $100,000 worth of meth.

Police charged a teenage girl and a 20-year-old man following an investigation into the supply and trafficking of dangerous drugs in Kingaroy.

About 12.20pm on Monday, Murgon detectives executed a search warrant at a Windsor Court address, seizing a large quantity of methylamphetamine, about 41 grams, with an estimated street value of more than $100,000, along with a quantity of cash, a number of mobile phones and drug utensils, a Queensland Police Service Statement read.

Following investigations, a 20-year-old Kingaroy man and 18-year-old Kingaroy woman were both charged.

The 20-year-old man was charged with 13 offences including six counts of supply dangerous drugs and one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs.

The 18-year-old Kingaroy woman was charged with seven offences including one count each of trafficking in dangerous drugs and possess dangerous drugs.

They are both expected to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 29.
