Truck driver injured in B-double rollover outside Goomeri

A truck driver has been injured, and emergency crews are working to clean up a diesel spill after a rollover in the South Burnett.

Emergency crews have rushed to the scene of a B-double truck rollover near Goomeri on Saturday.

The truck reportedly ran off the road into a ditch, causing diesel to spill in the area.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire Department said the crash occurred on a partially blind corner of Mactaggart St and the Burnett Highway just after 10am.

The truck driver and sole occupant of the vehicle sustained injuries to his knees and was taken to Kingaroy hospital in a stable condition.

Police continued to control traffic in the area, as QFD cleaned the diesel spill close to noon.
