After refusing the pay a taxi driver and ripping the eftpos machine from their car, a South Burnett woman took her situation from bad to worse after allegedly locking her jaws on a police officer’s finger.

A South Burnett woman has sunk her teeth into a police officer’s finger after she was arrested for abusing a taxi driver, who requested payment for his services.
According the officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, a Kingaroy taxi driver requested assistance form police with a passenger refusing to pay a fare at 8.45pm on Saturday, June 26.
After numerous requests - the passenger, a 30-year-old Kingaroy woman, ripped the eftpos machine from the mount and became abusive.
The woman was arrested, and while being processed in Kingaroy Watchhouse has bitten a police officer on the finger.
She will appear before Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 19 charged with serious assault of police, public nuisance and obstructing police.
The officer suffered minor bruising.
