A Nanango man will front court next month after jumping the fence to a neighbours’ backyard and hiding his phone under their house.
Between midnight and 9am on October 2, the 52-year-old entered the Gipps Street yard and stowed his phone away under the house.
Police were called when he returned in the morning to fetch it.
The Nanango resident told officers he hid the phone out of fear it was being “tracked” by someone.
He’s due to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on November 11.
