Man suffers serious injuries after being thrown from horse at Boondooma

A man has been flown to hospital after suffering serious injuries while riding his horse on a regional Qld property.

A man has been flown to Toowoomba Base Hospital with “life threatening” injuries after being thrown from his horse and then trampled by the animal in the South Burnett.

Paramedics were called to the private property at Boondooma shortly after 7.30am Sunday.

A Queens; and Ambulance Service woman said the man, in his 30s, suffered chest, shoulder and head injuries in the incident.

He was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to hospital after being treated by paramedics at the scene.
