Morayfield man Jordan Law found dead after Boxing Day disappearance
The search for a Morayfield man who disappeared near Lions Park North in Bundaberg, and prompted a large-scale rescue effort, has ended in tragedy.

A family is grieving after a 33-year-old man, reported missing from Bundaberg North on December 26, was found deceased.The man, identified as Jordan Law from Morayfield, was the subject of a significant search and rescue operation after he was last seen in the Burnett River in Bundaberg CBD on Boxing Day.
Police confirmed they would prepare a report for the coroner.
Mr. Law was last seen “in the water” near Lions Park North, Bundaberg North, at about 7.20pm on December 26.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said police, along with the family, held concerns for his welfare after he was reported missing.
“He is reported to have last been seen on the western side of the Burnett river bridge on the North Bundaberg side,” the spokesman said.
Police continued their extensive efforts to locate a Mr Law, with a focused search on both land and water.
Authorities launched an extensive search operation involving land and water efforts to locate Mr. Law.
Volunteer Marine Rescue teams and Hervey Bay Water Police patrolled the Burnett River and its riverbanks, while the Bundaberg Lifeflight helicopter conducted searches using advanced thermal imaging technology.
Swift water rescue boats and thermal imaging drones provided by the Queensland Fire Department were also deployed, and a dedicated SES land search team joined the efforts on December 27.
Despite the extensive resources and efforts, Mr. Law was sadly located deceased.
