Three Queensland Fire and Emergency crews are on scene of a house fire on Gipps Street in Nanango.
A QFES spokeswoman said the home was roughly ‘50 per cent involved’ and that crews were working to extinguish the fire from 10am. Nobody was trapped or injured.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said one person was outside of the home without injuries, however, QAS are on standby.
Smoke is expected to impact the surrounding area over the next several hours.
Nearby residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by if required.
Motorists should drive with caution and to the conditions.
