Woman flown to Brisbane after Durong crash
A young woman is fighting for life following a crash in the South Burnett that left her trapped in her vehicle at a Durong intersection.

A woman was flown to Brisbane with life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Durong in the South Burnett region on Monday morning.
The crash occurred on Mundubbera Durong and Shellytop Rd intersection about 9.30am and involved a utility vehicle and station wagon.
It is understood one of the vehicles was T-boned at an intersection, resulting in both vehicles being driven off the road.
The injured female driver, in her 20s, was cut from her vehicle by Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
She was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital by the The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the woman suffered “life threatening injuries”, and the male driver of the other vehicle did not need transportation.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said there were no road blockages and that no charges had been laid.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said earlier a crew had removed the female trapped patient about 10am.
Investigations are ongoing.
