Tributes have flowed for Ron Tyler Glenn Richmond, whose sudden death on December 30, at 28 years old, has broken the hearts of his family and the South Burnett community.

Mr Richmond will be remembered for his bright smile, willingness to help everybody and his mischievous nature as a child.

After spending his early childhood in Brisbane the Richmonds relocated to Kingaroy when Ron was five years old and he began his early schooling at Kumbia State School, completing high school at Nanango State High School.

A lover of animals and working on old cars, Ron’s devastated sister, Melanie Richmond, said she would always remember her brother’s bright smile, his slight dorkiness and his occasional “yeah man”.

“Ron’s smile was my favourite, he had it wherever he went and for everybody he met along the way,” Ms Richmond said.

“It hurts me to know I'll never get to see that smile again or the giggle he did when he thinks he did something funny.

“I was proud to be his sister,” she said.

One friend wrote, “He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.”

“Shattered to hear this, I love you all, I’m sending all my love and condolences,” another wrote.

Ms Richmond said she could never deny the pain her family was carrying.

“We have had a huge part of us ripped away and our souls are crying for our loved one,” she said.

“I would like us to remember him as a blessing and a lesson.

“I want to treasure the life he shared with us over the pain that his death has brought us.”

Mr Richmond’s funeral service will be held at the Burnett Chapel in Kingaroy on January 16, 2023 at 10am.
