Arvarna Lowe Ceramics

Arvarna Lowe is the owner of Arvarna Lowe Ceramics, and has been making handmade ceramics since 2010.

Ms Lowe makes dinnerware, trinket dishes, planters, incense holders, ceramic beads, and cute ornaments.

Each item is carefully handcrafted at home in her garage studio in the South Burnett.

She said her dream is to build her own purpose built studio with a shop attached.

MinMoo Additions

MinMoo Additions began two years and was started by Bre Reynolds.

Ms Reynolds makes Santa sacks, stockings, Christmas wreaths, poly clay Christmas tree decorations, poly clay earrings, cheese boards, cheese platter knives.

Ms Reynolds said she always enjoyed sewing and could not find anything unique that her children would like.

“I decided that I would try and personalise with homemade gifts that were only produced as a one-off item, no two are the same,” Ms Reynolds said.

“Clients can pick their unique item that has been made and personalise it by adding names or changing the colour,” she said.

The workshop closes two weeks prior to Christmas for postage allowance.

Gamez Knight

Gamez Knight is Kingaroy’s go to spot for board games, figure painting, role playing games and card games.

They have scheduled events throughout the school holidays including board game library, figure painting, card trading, dungeons and dragons games.

Owner Alex Niven said the store will reopen after Christmas on January 10 and the board game library is a good option to entertain the kids.

The shop can be found at 119 Youngman St, Kingaroy and will have a storewide 20 per cent sale until Christmas Eve.

Nava Luna Creations

Nava Luna was created in July this year and was founded by South Burnett local Neysa Andersen.

Nava Luna handmakes a wide range of wide range of candles, melts, crystals, agate wind chimes, suncatchers, simmer pot spells, spell jars, crystal terrariums and home decor.

Miss Andersen said everything, apart from the crystals, is handmade by myself in her small off grid home, which was difficult at times but worth it.

“When we started I was searching and learning about myself after 20 years of being a wife and mum, I discovered my absolute love for all things creative and magical,” Ms Andersen said.

“My signature product is definitely the crystal infused candles, stunning fragrances fill the area of the local markets I attend and I haven’t seen many people be able to resist the urge to walk in and have a browse.”

This Christmas Nava Lune’s famous Christmas bonbons are back, Christmas baubles and Christmas gift boxes.

Pretty Things for You and Me 

Kingaroy born Chelsea Finney is 19 years old and began Pretty Things for You and Me when she wanted to take her passion for arts and crafts further.

Chelsea Finney said she created business to meet new people and get to know what other people like.

“I have many different products that are featured in my business, these include candles, earrings, keyrings, hair accessories and more,” Miss Finney said.

“We have a Christmas range out at the moment including 50 per cent off all Christmas candles, they would make a great Christmas gift and any purchase is muchly appreciated,” she said.

Gourmet wagyu butchers The Phat Wag have something special for all meat lovers this season.

Owner Jocelyn Maller said they have some very special boards for sale in the shop this Christmas.

“We have key rings, Phat Wag caps and stubby coolers,” Mrs Maller said.

“We can prepare specific orders of meat for Christmas or for New Year parties with plenty of options for the BBQ or oven,” she said.

Seth’s Creations

Seth Smith is 21 years old and was motivated to start creating his own signs in late 2020.

Mr Smith said his most popular product has been customised Spotify plaques, commonly used as Christmas gifts.

“We also sell custom Christmas ornaments, jewellery stands, and I have recently found a passion for creating custom LED neon signs,” Mr Smith said.

“Most of my products are customised, I can create perfect Christmas gifts for any theme and at the moment we are offering a 20 per cent discount up until December 23.”

MyLolaCo is a small business owned by Mykala Besson with a strong focus on mental health acknowledgment.

Key chains, earrings, macramé key chains, macramé wristlets, macramé rainbows, macramé hat holders, bracelets, necklaces, claw clips and hair clips are available for purchase.

Miss Besson said every product is a reminder that you have made it another day, all orders come with mental health awareness stickers.

“MyLolaCo is my way of taking back the control of mental illness, running a business is something I truly love and something I have always dreamt about and every product is a reminder that you have made it another day,” Miss Besson said.

Outback 3D is a family run business in Nanango specialising in 3D Printing, shirt printing and other home designed goods.

Outback 3D began making gifts and souvenirs for family members and local businesses, they now post to customers Australia wide.

Owners Sean Riley and Mellinda Gray said they love to work with customers to make their dreams come to life.

“We will be at the Nanango Christmas Carnival where people can check out the crazy designs, stocking stuffers and 3d models made just in time for Christmas,” Mr Riley said.

Ki-Ative Designs is owned by Kia Manders who designs, creates and personalise gifts for all occasions.

Miss Manders said being creative had been in her bones since she was little and it was always been a dream to expand her passion.

“If you’re needing anything for Christmas I have you covered, with over 30 Baubles and 25 Santa Sacks already sold I have personalised stocking fillers, gifts and more,” Ms Manders said.

“I design kids and adults T-shirts, bibs, brushes, cosmetic bags, jewellery boxes, pot holders, tea towels, mugs, drink bottles, tooth fairy bags and more.

“One of my biggest sellers have been my personalised stemless wine tumblers which can be personalised to suit any occasion,” she said.
