There was just as much action and fun at the Kumbia Races as there was at the Melbourne Cup, with the Burnett gathering to celebrate the Flemington of the Bush. See all the photos here:

Drama on track, glamorous fashions on the field – punters at the Kumbia Races could almost forget they were in the South Burnett and not Melbourn as the community enjoyed the Flemington of the Bush.

While a real Race that stops the nation halted proceeding momentarily, Kumbia Racetrack was a hive of activity for the rest of the afternoon.
