Family owned Christmas tree farm opens for silly season
Kingaroy Christmas Lights administrator Mandii Humphrys said she started the page after she moved from Cairns to the South Burnett and found the only listed lights were those that had been entered in a competition.
“My best Friend in Cairns runs a page that lists all the lights there, so I spoke to her about it, and I started creating the page,” Ms Humphrys said
“Christmas to me is bringing everyone together, sharing with the community and enjoying the beautiful displays the South Burnett community create for us.
“The community has reacted with gratitude and excitement for the lists and the page has gradually grown over the 4 years and I look forward to it continuing to grow in the years to come.
“Personally, the best part of being in the SB over Christmas is the festivities our region have.”
