Crime scene established after man dies in Kingaroy
Police have given an important update into the investigation of the death of a man after he appeared at the Kingaroy Hospital with stab wounds.

Police are waiting for a post mortem on a man as part of their investigation into his death on Sunday in Kingaroy.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said about 4.40am on Sunday police responded to a report a man in his 30s had attended the Kingaroy Hospital with “life threatening stab wounds”.
“He was pronounced deceased a short time later,” the spokesman said.
On Monday morning a police spokeswoman said officers were waiting on a post-mortem but stressed there was no ongoing threat to the community.
“The investigation is still very much ongoing,” she said.
On Sunday a crime scene was established at the corner of First Ave and Haly St.
A neighbour reported hearing a “man scream” late Saturday afternoon.
She said she was not sure if it was related but believed it came from the same house.
“I heard a man scream and then it abruptly stopped,” she said.
The woman said the neighbourhood was usually quiet and it was “out of the ordinary” to hear the scream.
