A 54-year-old man who is facing several serious charges, including rape and child sexual abuse, had his case heard in court.
Shane Robert Davis has been charged with one count each of common assault, indecent treatment of a child under under 12 years, and rape.
No pleas have been entered.
The Stanmore man appeared in court alongside his lawyer, Mark Werner, who requested an adjournment to allowed them to order briefs of evidence from police investigators.
Mr Davis is due back in Kingaroy Magistrates Court for a mention on August 28.
