A teenager has died after being runover while lying in the road on Saturday.
The incident happened in Hivesville in the South Burnett region.
Initial investigations indicate a Toyota HiLux was travelling on Wondai Preston Road about 6am when the vehicle struck a man lying on the roadway.
The 18-year-old Kingaroy man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations into the circumstances of the incident are underway.
