After a horrific fire burnt down their family home, Roma couple Jordon Dennis and Erin Byrnes have been left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

The fire on Thursday morning, which is still under investigation, claimed their belongings and tragically their beloved pets.

It’s another major setback for the young family, just 12 months after Jordon suffered a major heart attack.

A GoFundMe page has been created by Jordon’s cousins, Angeleena and Tayla, to help the young couple and their 8-year-old daughter/step daughter Ariah.

“We are so relieved that Jordon, Erin and Ariah were unharmed as they were at work and Ariah was with her mum,” they said.

“Unfortunately, some of their beloved pets were trapped inside the house.

“However, this beautiful young couple now must begin the painstaking process of not only grieving what was lost but also finding a new home and replacing household goods.”

So far there’s been 19 donations made and they’ve reached $1,835 of their $15,000 goal.

Angeleena and Tayla said all donated funds would go towards buying housewares and furnishings, animal goods and supplies, clothing and toys for Ariah.

“We are all very grateful for any support and assistance.

“We hope we can pull together to help this young family.”
