An elderly truck driver has been taken to Dalby Hospital after his vehicle crashed off a highway west of Toowoomba on Sunday.
Emergency services, including ambulance and fire crews, were called at 5.35pm to the scene of the incident near the intersection of the Warrego Highway and Nauschutz Road at Brigalow.
The truck had reportedly come off the highway and crashed through some trees before ending up in a nearby paddock.
The man in his 70s, who was the only occupant of the truck, was taken to hospital in a stable condition after reporting pains in his head.
