Multiple crews responding to Roma house fire

Dark smoke has triggered an emergency response in Roma as fire engulfed a suburban home on Thursday.
Emergency services responded to the blaze on South St about 9.10am.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the organisation received reports of smoke coming out the roof of a single-storey house.
Three fire crews and a senior officer attended the scene and confirmed all who had been inside the dwelling had got out, and were accounted for.
“The cause (of the fire) is unknown and will be under investigation,” the spokesman said.
One Queensland Ambulance Service crew was on the scene as standby, but no one was believed to be injured.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers had begun conducting their initial investigations into the blaze.
“We treat all fires as suspicious until proven otherwise,” the spokesman said.
