Two crashes in one hour: Truck rollover, car smash near Rockhampton
A baby, teen and two adults have been injured in two crashes within an hour in the Rockhampton region. It comes after five others were hurt in separate crashes overnight.
Two people have been involved in a truck rollover north of Rockhampton less than an hour after a car crash sent another two to hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a man and a teen escaped after their truck blew a tyre and rolled off St Lawrence Rd in Marlborough at 9.15am.
Both were checked by paramedics for minor injuries while traffic came to a brief pause.
Earlier, four people, including a baby were involved in a two-car crash in Rockhampton central.
Police were called to the intersection of Goodsall St and Dennison St at 8.20am.
One man suffered hip and back injuries, and another woman suffered shoulder injuries while the infant escaped with no injuries.
They were both taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
It comes after five others including a teen riding an e-scooter and a young boy were hurt in separate crashes in the same region overnight.
