Around 1.30pm on Tuesday, a blue 2019 Ford F150 dual cab utility was travelling south on the highway near Bajool, when it crossed into the northbound lane, colliding head-on with a white semi-trailer carrying a large metal frame, police said.

“Within about 10 minutes that person was extricated and in the hands of Queensland Ambulance,” she said.
