A young pig hunter had to be flown to hospital after he became pinned under his ute when he swerved to dodge a pig standing in the middle of the road.
The man in his 20s suffered serious leg injuries about 10pm on Tuesday, June 25 when the incident occurred in the Banana shire region.
It is understood he was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
He was found by friends at 5am who lifted the vehicle off him before driving him to a local medical centre where he was treated for a serious leg injury, according to RACQ LifeFlight Rescue.
The Bundaberg-based crew landed the helicopter on a sports oval adjacent to the medical centre.

A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedic drove the man from the medical centre to the nearby helicopter.
The man, aged in his 20s, was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
A Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman on Thursday said the man remained in hospital in a stable condition.
