Two people are being treated by ambulance officers after their car rolled down an embankment at Cawarral on Wednesday morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the accident happened at 9.50am off the corner of Dobson Lane and Cawarral Road, 26km north-west of Rockhampton.

Meanwhile, police responded to an accident 20 minutes earlier in Cawarral after a car hit a kangaroo.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said no one was trapped in the vehicle.
