RACQ CapRescue fly man to hospital after dirt bike crash at Marlborough

A man hit his head on an object hidden in grass after he was thrown from a dirt bike while riding through a property north of Rockhampton.

A man has been flown to hospital with a head injury after he was thrown from a dirt bike while riding on a property north of Rockhampton.

Queensland Ambulance Service were called to the incident at an address on Milman Street, Marlborough, at 11am Thursday.

It is understood the man, who is aged in his mid-30s, was riding through a property and hit agricultural equipment hidden in long grass.

He was thrown from the bike and hit his head on the object.

RACQ CapRescue were tasked while the man was transported by ambulance to the Marlborough helipad.

The on board Rescue300 medical crew stabilised the man before flying him to Rockhampton Hospital for further treatment.
