Emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on a major Rockhampton thoroughfare.
Just before 11.40am paramedics, fireys and police were called to a two-vehicle crash on Albert St on the Neville Hewitt Bridge (new bridge).
A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics were treating a stable patient on scene for lower neck pain.
It was later revealed two patients assessed were uninjured and did not require transport to hospital.
One Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crew was at the scene of the crash.
A QFES spokeswoman said there was heavy traffic in the area, with the crash occurring in the southbound lane.
It’s not the only incident that kept local emergency crews busy on Wednesday.
About 7.06am crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Denison and Stanley streets.
One person was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
On Wednesday afternoon emergency crews raced to a multi-vehicle crash on the Peak Downs Highway.
A spokeswoman for QAS said paramedics assessed four stable patients, all with minor injuries.
