Head on collision on Leichhardt Highway near Theodore
One male drive was flown to Brisbane while another man was flown to Rockhampton following the two-vehicle accident on the Leichhardt Highway.

A head-on collision has been reported near Theodore, 200km from Rockhampton, with the RACQ Capricorn Rescue helicopter called in for assistance.
Two vehicles, a ute and a van, collided just after 10am on the Leichhardt Highway near the Gibber Gunya Connection Road, five minutes from Theodore.
Each vehicle had a single male occupant.
Queensland Ambulance Service have reported two males were assessed by paramedics.
One man, believed to be in his 70s, was taken by road ambulance to Theodore Airfield where he was flown to Royal Brisbane Hospital.
He was flown by the Royal Flying Doctor just after 1pm.
It was initially reported he was suffering from back injuries.
The other man, in his 60s, was suffering from suspected lower limb and internal injuries.
He was flown by RACQ CapRescue to the Rockhampton Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
The highway has now been cleared.
