An architecturally-designed waterfront home with ocean and island views on the Capricorn Coast is for sale with a multi-million-dollar price tag and is attracting the attention of international buyers.
The home at 25 Alexander Street, Zilzie, is for sale for offers over $4.9 million through Ray White Yeppoon.
Principal Riley Neaton said there had been some good interest in the property from both local and southern buyers, as well as from international buyers.
Mr Neaton said the international inquiries included a buyer from Hong Kong.
“We have had mostly people from interstate,” he said.
“We have had a couple fly over to view the property.”
He said the owner was looking to downsize.
“There has only been one owner of the property,” he said.
“They built it for their family and have loved living there for many years.
“It’s just time for them to move on and downsize.”
The property is situated on three blocks of absolute waterfront land spanning “just under one acre”.
“It is probably one of Australia’s most rare properties,” Mr Neaton said.
“There’s not many properties in Australia that have three titles on the oceanfront.”
The concrete built home spans over two levels and boasts five bedrooms, three bathrooms, open plan living upstairs and down plus a second kitchen on the lower level, suspended concrete decks on both levels, a wrap around pool, two bay shed and a three bay garage.
“It’s kept immaculate throughout,” Mr Neaton said.
“It’s one of a kind.
“There’s no other property like this one.
“It has 180 degree ocean views up and down the coast.
“Some of the best views in Australia.”
Mr Neaton said the Capricorn Coast market had been really strong for the last five years.
“It has definitely increased across the board,” he said.
“Even still today we are getting a lot of inquiries across all property and all price points and I can’t see the market slowing down there at all.
“The median price has grown.
“The inquiry has been local people but also southern buyers moving up to the local area to live.”
The Capricorn Coast has seen more than 10 beach homes sell for $1 million or more in 2024.
The most recent beachfront sale was 37 Wattle Grove, Cooee Bay, for $2 million in September.
The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home was on a 599 sqm block right on Fisherman’s Beach at Cooee Bay.
