From homes on the absolute beachfront to elevated homes with ocean views just minutes from the beach, 10 beach homes have sold on the Capricorn Coast for $1 million or more in 2024.
Ray White Yeppoon agent Debbie Lodwick said beachfront homes were always popular on the Capricorn Coast.
“I think that living on the beach is probably a dream for many people,” she said.
“You can walk out your back door and straight onto the beach.
“It’s like you’re on holidays all the time.”
Ms Lodwick has sold three beachfront homes in 2024.
She has sold 894 Scenic Highway, Kinka Beach, sold for $1 million on June 25, 70 Esplanade, Yeppoon, sold for $1.1 million on May 15 and 37 Todd Avenue, Yeppoon, sold for $2.2 million on March 20.
On the Sunshine Coast, a five-bedroom absolute beachfront home at 11 Tristania Drive, Marcus Beach, sold for $5.1 million on July 18.
A three-bedroom home with elevated ocean views and direct access to Sunshine Beach on 29 McAnally Drive sold for $8,375,750 on February 23.
Ms Lodwick said she fields inquiries from all over Australia for beachfront homes on the Capricorn Coast.
“We get a lot of inquiry from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth,” she said.
While Ms Lodwick receives inquiries from all over the country, she said a lot of buyers were from Central Queensland.
“They love the lifestyle,” she said.
“They can see the value in a beachfront property because beachfront properties there’s not many of them on the Capricorn Coast. Even though we have a large coastline, there’s not that many at all of beachfront property.

A 1930s era beachfront home just across the road from Zilzie Beach at 26 Esplanade, Zilzie, has sold for $1.02 million on July 29.
Situated on a 2361 sqm block, the home boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms and three kitchens across the main residence and granny flat, with ocean views from the balcony.
The home belonged to the previous family for more than 50 years.
3 ROSSLYN CLOSE, LAMMERMOOR
A home with breathtaking ocean views and easy access to Lammermoor Beach at 3 Rosslyn Close, Lammermoor, sold for $1.125 million on July 4.
Situated on a 700 sqm block, home boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, home office, two living spaces, spacious deck, outdoor kitchen, in-ground swimming pool, garden shed and single-car garage.
The home is just a three minute walk to the beach.
57 KIAMA AVENUE, BANGALEE
A beachfront home just steps away from the beach at 57 Kiama Avenue, Bangalee, has sold for $1.109 million on June 28.
The two-storey home boasts five bedrooms, two bathrooms, an outdoor entertaining area and a three-car garage on a 524 sqm block.
The home also offers a dual living potential with the lower level featuring a large lounge area, dining space and a kitchenette, as well as two bedrooms and one bathroom.
894 SCENIC HIGHWAY KINKA BEACH
A beachfront home at 894 Scenic Highway, Kinka Beach, has sold for $1 million on June 25.

37 TODD AVENUE YEPPOON

46 EVELYN STREET, LAMMERMOOR
A home with sea views, just metres from Lammermoor Beach, at 46 Evelyn Street, Lammermoor, sold for $2 million on January 10.
The home boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, spacious rumpus room, home office, multiple decks and an infinity pool.
Situated on a 1336 sqm block, the home also features terraced landscapes, a fire pit and orchard.
The home has beach access via Evelyn Street or Rosslyn Close.
