Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Biloela region drink-drivers busted
Alarmingly, two women aged in their 60s were among the drink-drivers caught on Central Queensland roads and their readings weren’t low - one of them was a hospital worker.

The following people pleaded guilty in Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Biloela courts recently to drink-driving offences.
Rockhampton Magistrates Court, August 9
Ian Lee Howard, 40, blew a reading of .054 when he was caught drink-driving on Rochedale Road, Springwood, on June 10.
The court heard Howard was a probationary licence holder at the time.
It was told that Howard had a dangerous operation of a motor vehicle offence on his history.
The plumber and father of three was fined $550 and disqualified from driving for three months.
Yeppoon Magistrates Court, August 4
Shyvan Lee Stanton, 28, blew a reading of .085 when she was caught drink-driving on Rawlings Street, Yeppoon, on June 25.
The court heard that Stanton worked in administration for a real estate agency and she had no prior offending of this sort on her traffic history.
She was fined $500 and disqualified from driving for three months.
Biloela Magistrates Court, July 13
Cozzet Denise Parker, 64, blew a reading of .104 when she was caught drink-driving on Stafford Street, Baralaba, on June 16.
The court heard Parker was on a probationary licence at the time and was required to have a zero blood-alcohol limit.
With a previous drink-driving offence on her history from 2021, Parker, who works at Baralaba Hospital, was fined $850 and disqualified from driving for eight months.
Deborah Gai Cambray, 67, blew a reading of .097 when she was caught drink-driving on Rutherford Street, Monto, on April 29.
With no previous offending of this sort, Cambray was fined $500 and disqualified from driving for three months.
Charlene Hampson, 32, blew a reading of .061 when she was caught drink-driving on Lister Street, Monto, on May 20.
The court heard that Hampson was a mother of four who ran a home business.
She was fined $350 and disqualified from driving for one month.
