Police have arrested a man after a dramatic police chase through Rockhampton City.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said officers were conducting a roadside breath test when the driver of the vehicle allegedly fled on foot.
Police pursued the man through numerous alleyways and streets shortly after 8am.
The man was eventually arrested near William Street at 8.40am.
