Man charged after alleged stabbing in Rockhampton East
A 69-year-old man has been charged allegedly stabbing another man on a Rockhampton street, leaving him in a critical condition.

A 69-year-old man has been charged by police after a 52-year-old sustained serious injuries following an alleged stabbing in Rockhampton.
The man was taken into custody on June 25 and charged with one count of grievous bodily harm following the June 15 incident.
Police allege just after 7.30pm an altercation occurred at the property between the two men, who were known to each other.
Emergency crews were called to the East St home in Rockhampton City just before 8pm and when police arrived on scene they found the 52-year-old Rockhampton man with two puncture wounds to his back and chest.
He was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The man has been discharged from hospital and has returned to his home.
A crime scene was declared at the East St home on June 15, with police attending the property again the following morning.
The 69-year-old is due to appear at Rockhampton Magistrates Court on July 19.
