Defence barrister Maree Willey, representing Mr Miggins, said she had not yet finalised instructions with her client, but he would enter pleas at the next court date.
Ms Whitehead’s barrister, Julie Marsden, said her client was gathering material ready for sentencing.
According to court documents, Mr Miggins, who owned a business at the time he was charged, and Ms Miggins allegedly had sex with a dog at a Berserker address on December 29, 2021, and January 17, 2022.
The documents also alleged the pair committed bestiality on a dog a third time at a Norman Gardens address where Mr Miggins was residing at the time.
Neither have entered pleas.
Ms Whitehead’s sentence has been scheduled for August 8.
Mr Miggins’ case has been adjourned to the same date for either arraignment (entering a plea) or sentencing.
