Gracemere siege and house fire

His matters were mentioned in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on June 29 where the court was informed the brief of evidence was only waiting on a forensic statement due in July.

Police were called to the Kirsten Close, Gracemere, residence about 6.45pm on March 19 to a disturbance.

During the alleged siege, the house caught on fire with smoke emitting from the roof, particularly around the garage area.

Police will allege there was some damage to the house and a vehicle during the incident.

Mr Peckett was witnessed by reporters exiting the house into the backyard about 10.55pm.

He was taken into police custody and charged.

His charges will next be mentioned in court on July 27.
