Emergency services have responded to two car fires less than five kilometres from each other near Rockhampton.
The first of the two car fires occurred at Bunya Road in Rockyview at 1.25pm.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said the vehicle was on fire when emergency services arrived, but they managed to extinguish it by 1.30pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said nobody at the scene required treatment.
The next incident occurred on Fons Drive in Glendale.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said firefighters were able to see large black plumes of smoke while they were driving to the scene.
When they arrived, they found one car burning along with a small grass fire.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics attended the scene around 2.48pm.
One person was assessed on scene for smoke inhalation but declined transport to hospital.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the car fire at Glendale was not suspicious.
She said about 2.45pm, emergency services were called to Fons Drive after reports of a vehicle on fire.
She also said it was likely the blaze at Rockyview was not suspicious.
Police investigations are ongoing.
