Police have launched an investigation into an alleged stabbing in Queensland after a man was taken to a rural hospital with a chest wound.

Police are investigating an alleged stabbing after a man was taken to a Central Queensland with a chest wound on Tuesday night.
A spokesman for Queensland Police Service said early investigations indicated a man suffered a wound to his chest at an address on Beardmore Cres, Dysart, at 7.17pm.
He said a 30-year-old man was found at the address with “non-life-threatening” injuries.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics transported the man to Dysart Hospital in a stable condition.
The QPS spokesman said investigations were ongoing into the alleged incident.
The drama comes as detectives are investigating a potential shooting incident after a man and woman were taken to a Central Queensland hospital suffering from ‘significant’ injuries in Dysart.
