Man flown to hospital after car crash on Burnett Highway, Central QLD
Police are investigating a head-on crash on the Burnett Highway in Central Queensland, which ended with one man flown to hospital in a serious condition and another hospitalised.

Police are investigating a head-on collision on the Burnett Highway, southeast of Biloela, which ended with one man flown to hospital and another injured.
Emergency services were called to the crash at Lawgi Dawes, in the Banana region, at 10.25pm Monday.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said two Holden Commodores collided head-on, closing the highway in both directions.
Queensland Ambulance Service crews assessed two men at the scene, including a man in his 40s who was treated for internal bleeding.
The Bundaberg RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene about 11pm.
The pilot landed the helicopter on the road nearby, with a QAS flight paramedic assisting local QAS paramedics.
The man was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a serious condition, while a man travelling in the other vehicle was transported by ambulance to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
The QPS spokeswoman said officers from the Forensic Crash Unit were investigating and no charges had been laid.
