Storm contracted-youngster Matthew Hill has shown just why the powerhouse NRL club decided to take a punt on the Central Queensland product.
The St Brendan’s fullback was in electrifying form for the Yeppoon nursery as they made it two wins from two matches to start the season.

Emmaus put up a strong fight against the reigning Aaron Payne Cup champions, but in the end struggled to break down the opposition defence in the 22-4 loss.
But it was a match that belonged to Hill, who showed an impressive mix of raw power and slick footwork to put his side on the front foot across the 80 minutes.
While he set up a first-half four-pointer for the home side with a dominant run, it was Hill’s work at the start of sets beating defenders at will that was crucial to victory.
The St Brendan’s youngster has already set up an impressive highlight reel over the opening two rounds of the Dolphins Cup.
Emmaus were far from embarrassed in the game, and were rewarded late in the clash for their hard work with a skilful try for winger Patrick Campbell.

Emmaus College and St Brendan’s College will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Dolphins Cup on Tuesday.
After winning their opening games, they will face off in the premier schoolboys rugby league competition at 6pm, and you can catch the action live on this website.

St Brendan’s coach Scott Minto said his team had started with “some promise” after their 18-2 win over The Cathedral College last week.
“Although we were a little rusty in some key areas we are trying to improve on, I felt we were solid for our first outing,” he said.
“Our outside backs took centre stage with some really nice involvements and our halves did a good job of getting the ball into the hands of key players at the right time.
“Some of the new additions to the 2022 squad started their campaigns well with Diezel Brunker and Wyatt Lourigan contributing both with and without the ball, as well as youngsters Tavita Penaia and Banjo Walker having great starts.”
Emmaus and St Brendan’s will meet in the Dolphins Cup at 5pm Tuesday.
