Man dead, teen fighting for life after car hit tree
A 22-year-old man has died and a 19-year-old woman is fighting for life following a car crash in Ebbw Vale on Friday night.

A 22-year-old man has died and a 19-year-old woman is fighting for life following a car crash in Ebbw Vale on Friday night.
Initial investigations suggest around 6.15pm a bronze Ford Falcon sedan was travelling east along Brisbane Road near Noel Street when it left the road and struck a tree.
A passing motorist called emergency services and administered first aid before paramedics arrived.
The driver, a Boronia Heights man, and his passenger, a Leichhardt woman, both sustained critical injuries and were taken to hospital but the man has since died as a result of his injuries, police said on Sunday.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is continuing and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
