Car crash on corner of Field St, Steinback Ct West Mackay leaves driver entrapped in vehicle

Three patients were transported to Mackay Base Hospital following a two-vehicle traffic crash in West Mackay, with one needing to be freed from their car.
Emergency services were called to the incident at the intersection between Field St and Steinbeck Ct at 2.40pm.
A red car was towed away from the scene, with a heavy dent to the drivers side door.
A QFES spokesman confirmed two crews attended the incident, and one person was trapped within their vehicles.
It took Fire and Emergency services about five minutes to free the entrapped person, and they had to use electrical cutting equipment to do so.
A QAS spokeswoman confirmed three patients, a female in their 30s with chest pain, a man in his 40s and another female were transported to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
