A woman has been taken to hospital in a stable condition following a two car crash in Paget, Mackay.

Emergency services were called to a two vehicle crash just before 10:30am outside Sydney Total Tools on Archibald St.

The vehicles, a ute and a truck, were both parked on the side of the road by the time Queensland Police and Queensland Ambulance service responded.

There was little damage sustained to either vehicles, however two patients required treatment from paramedics.

One male patient was examined but ultimately declined further examination, whereas a QAS spokeswoman confirms that an adult female patient was transported to Mackay Base hospital with back pains at approximately 11:00am.
