Three-vehicle crash closes Eimeo Rd in Rural View, truck destroys fence
A car carrying a horse carriage has crashed off the Bruce Highway just minutes after a truck reportedly went through a fence in a Mackay street.

A truck and two cars have ploughed into a person’s backyard in Mackay
Police were called to Eimeo Rd in Rural View at about 2.45pm to a reported three-vehicle crash involving a tilt tray truck and two sedans.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said one of the drivers was being assessed by paramedics and was in a stable condition.
The other two drivers declined assessment.
Eimeo Rd was closed at the Northern Beaches Community Hub as police assessed the scene.
It came 15 minutes before a car towing a horse carriage veered into an embankment in Koumala.
Police were called to the Bruce Hwy near Price Rd at about 3pm.
The driver was in a stable condition.
