A shed fire sparked a large response from firefighters who quickly launched an effort to contain the spread.
Emergency services rushed to Burnell Dr, Alligator Creek just before 3pm to reports of a shed on fire.
A police spokesman said there was concern the structure contained petrol and the shed was close to a house.
Six crews from the Queensland Fire Department arrived to find the shed “well alight” with grass on fire around it.
Firefighters contained the blaze and extinguish the spreading grassfire by 4.10pm.
