Emergency services responded to the Mackay-Eungella Rd near the intersection of Peaches Rd west of Marian at 12.31pm to reports of a crash and power lines hanging over the road.

The driver, a male in his 20s, was out of the car by the time police and paramedics arrived to the scene and he was transported to Mackay Base Hospital after sustaining a minor wrist injury, paramedics said.

Police closed the Mackay-Eungella Rd in both directions and put diversions in place due to power lines hanging low over the road.

Ergon is on its way to the scene.
