Forgan Bridge reopened with no one injured in early morning incident

A vital bridge for morning commuters was closed early this morning with police warning commuters to avoid the area causing traffic jams on the surrounding roadways. LATEST.

The Forgan Bridge has reopened following an incident earlier this morning.

Police were called to Forgan Bridge, which feeds in traffic from Harbour Rd to reports of an incident around 6.45am on Monday, November 4 and closed the bridge by 7am.

The bridge was reopened at 10.30am and a Queensland Police spokeswoman confirmed no one was injured during the incident.

The early morning closure wrought havoc on commuters with drivers have spilling onto Riverside Dr and Sams Rd congesting both roadways.
