Paramedics have taken a teenager to hospital after he was hit by a car while riding an e-scooter in Mackay.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said crews were called to Slade Point Rd near Lester Hansen St after receiving reports a car had collided with a male teenager shortly before 10am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the teenager, who had been riding an e-scooter, had multiple abrasions.
The spokeswoman added he was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Elsewhere in the state, police are investigating a horror crash that killed a woman and left four others with serious injuries in Bundaberg on Friday night.
A 57-year-old Bargara woman died at the scene after the Mazda CX-8 she was in collided with a Nissan Pathfinder.
