One dead, four seriously injured after horror crash at Bundaberg, Qld
A woman has been killed and four others seriously injured after a horrifying two-car crash involving a baby at Bundaberg overnight.

A woman has been killed and four others left with serious injuries after a horror two-car crash in Bundaberg on Friday night.
Initial investigations show that around 8.20pm, a 2021 Mazda CX-8 and a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder crashed on Fe Walker Street, west of Ashfield Road at Kalkie.
A 57-year-old Bargara woman who was a passenger in the Mazda, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The other occupants of the Mazda, all from Bargara who were known to each other, were taken to Bundaberg Hospital with serious injuries along with a baby who was not injured.
This included a 63-year-old man suffering chest injuries, a 30-year-old man with potentially life-threatening abdominal injuries and a 28-year-old woman with lower limb injuries who was stable.
The driver of the Nissan, a 46-year-old Norville man, also suffered multiple, potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, and police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything or may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
No charges have been laid at this stage.

It is the third serious crash in the region in as many days, following a fatal crash at Elliot on Wednesday in which 20-year-old Ryan Hickling was killed when two motorcycles collided with a ute on Childers Rd, and a single vehicle quad bike crash at Lowmead on Thursday which claimed the life of a 59-year-old woman.
