A 38-year-old man suffering a wrist injury was taken to Mackay Base Hospital after he was involved in a quad bike accident on a private property at Mount Ossa, north of Mackay.
Emergency services were called to the accident on the Mirani-Mount Ossa Rd property about 5.30pm on Sunday, September 29.
It follows the tragic death of a man at Koumala, near Mackay, in March of this year when his quad bike rolled into a creek, trapping him under water.
