A man’s desire for a mid-flight smoke was too strong to resist after a recent trip to Proserpine.

The 35-year-old North Eton resident was arrested on the tarmac of Proserpine Airport after allegedly refusing to give up his e-cigarette.

Police will allege the man was a passenger on the November 25 commercial flight when he was spotted smoking in his seat.

The cabin crew warned the man about his behaviour.
